Overview: Under the guidance of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, AW/34 represents the UK’s position on issues related to ISO/TC 34 standards covering the food chain from primary production to consumption. This mirror committee for ISO/TC 34 covers a broad range of areas, including spices, ingredients, food analysis and testing, food classifications and criteria and food processing. The key national interest focus areas include food security and resilience, sustainable food, nutrition, and alternative proteins.
