Purpose
Dried Lime is used in forms of whole or ground, as a condiment in Middle Eastern dishes. Originating is in the Persian Gulf. Dried limes are popular in cookery, specially across the Middle East. Dried lime as one of the condiments is used to add a sour flavor to dishes. The consumption of this condiment has been increased and there is not International standard for it, whereas, world economic standards become more uniform. So an international standard is needed for the specification that would be as a reference for exporters and importers. It helps to stakeholders for fair trade and both parties buyers and sellers will benefit. Meanwhile, this standard will help align conflicting guidance for International trade of this product.
Publishing such a standard helps to both parties, producers and stakeholder, for better understanding about the specification of this spice. It helps to all for covering the needs of suppliers and stakeholders for international trade and it makes the business easier and safer for both parties.
