Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for the UK input to IEC/TC 23: Electrical accessories; IEC/SC 23B: Plugs, socket-outlets and switches; IEC/SC 23C: World-wide plug and socket-outlets systems; IEC/SC 23H: Plugs and socket-outlets for industrial purposes; IEC/SC 23J: Switches for appliances; IEC/SC 23K: Electrical Energy Efficiency Products and of those of the corresponding CENELEC committees, CLC/TC 23, CLC/TC 23B, CLC/TC 23H, CLC/SR 23J and CLC/SR 23K.
