Scope

Same as existing but Include 60Hz operation and rated voltage

Purpose

The proposed revision will address the following clauses:-

Scope; review ‘Rated voltage’ and 60Hz frequency operation

Clause 6.2 ; Revise to remove confusion over ratings (smart sockets)

Clause 8; Clearances - Replace cross refs with table; Moveable parts – operation with detachable fuse covers

Clause 12; Revised definition for brass; Minimum insulation thickness

Clause 13; Test each pole of DP switches; new switch designs ; Rotational torques

Clause 15; Disconnecting electronic components

Clause 19; Increased flexible conductor capacities

Clause 21; Revised definition for brass;

Annex H; USB circuits as DCP
