Overview: Standardisation of planning and design for civil engineering works in coastal, nearshore, estuarine and inland areas, covering infrastructure such as ports, harbours, marine terminals, dredging, reclamation, waterfront and coastal structures, and flood/coastal erosion risk management. Recommendations consider marine operations and navigation relevant to port and terminal design. Excludes offshore petroleum, natural gas, and renewable energy structures. Responsible for providing advice to B/525 on maritime and coastal structures under the Eurocodes.
