Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee is responsible for the UK input to CEN/TC 248/WG 4, CEN/TC 248/WG 21, & CEN/TC 248/WG 28, and to ISO/TC 38/WG 9, ISO/TC 38/WG 26, ISO/TC 38/WG 27, ISO/TC 38/SC 2/WG 8, ISO/TC 38/SC 20, ISO/TC 38/SC 23 and ISO/TC 38/SC 23 and WGs 2, 5 & 6, ISO/TC 38/SC 24 and WGs 1, 2 & 8, ISO/TC 45/SC 4/WG 1 and ISO/TC 45/SC 4/WG 13. It is responsible for the preparation of British Standards for methods of test for physical properties of textiles including commercial mass determination and atmospheres for conditioning and testing, but excluding textile floor coverings
