Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, SDS/2 is responsible for participating in and/or overseeing the preparation and promotion of British Standards in the field of smart and sustainable cities and communities, and for UK’s input into ISO/TC 268, ISO/IEC JTC 1/WG 11, IEC/SyC Smart Cities and CEN/TC 465. SDS/2 will also participate in CEN/CENELEC/ETSI Sector Forum on Smart Cities and Communities. SDS/2 will monitor activities of ISO/IEC/ITU JTF SC and ITU-T SG 20 Internet of things (IoT) and smart cities and communities (SC&C).
