Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for the UK input to CEN/TC 459/SC 9, ISO/TC 17/SC 9 and ISO/TC 17/SC 12 in relation to standards for flat products to be used for cold forming including steel plate and sheet (coated and uncoated), strip (including narrow strip and strip for springs) tinplate and blackplate. It excludes material for magnetic circuits of electrical apparatus.
