Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, AGE/29 - Forestry machinery, powered lawn and garden equipment is responsible for the UK input to National, European and International standardization work related to the terminology, test procedures and safety of portable (such as chainsaws) and heavy (such as feller- bunchers) forestry machinery and to formulate the United Kingdom views on proposals for International Standards for powered lawn and garden equipment.
