Scope

This International standard specifies requirements for seasoning oil of Zanthoxyli pericarpium, which includes its sensory, physicochemical, safety and marking requirements and corresponding test methods.

This International standard applies to seasoning oil which takes Zanthoxyli pericarpium as the main raw material.

Recommendations relating to storage and transport conditions are given in Annex A.
