Overview: Under the direction of SPSC, ACE/20 is responsible for the development of national standards relating to uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) including, but not limited to, classification, design, manufacture, operation (including maintenance) and safety management of UAS operations. It is additionally responsible for co-ordinating the UK input into the European committee ASD/STAN/D5, and the international committee ISO/TC 20/SC 16. ACE/20 contributes to ACE/1 International and European Aerospace Policy and Processes.
