Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for the preparation of British Standards in the field of automotive services. Its scope is to develop standards for the services offered by providers in the automotive industry, including, but not restricted to, vehicle damage repair, garage services, and aftermarket engine and part supply, with the aim of giving providers, business purchasers and consumers criteria for making informed decisions.
