Overview: Under the direction of GW/1, is responsible for producing British Standards relating to electronic access control and building intercom systems including, electronic, electromechanical components and associated management software. GW/1/8 is responsible for UK input to European and international committees, including IEC/TC 79/WG 11 and IEC/TC 79/WG 13. GW/1/8 provides assistance and input to the GW/1 sub-committee structure and other relevant national, European and international committees.
