Overview: Under the direction of CPL/61 this subcommittee is responsible for providing UK input to IEC TC 61, SC 61B and CENELEC TC 61 on matters relating to IEC/EN 60335 Part 2s for the safety of household and similar heated electrical appliances including: cookers, room heaters, water heaters, heating appliances, microwave ovens and electric blankets.
