Scope

This European standard deals with the safety of electrical appliances for heating liquids for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V including direct current (DC) supplied appliances and battery- operated appliances. Some appliances in this standard are used for heating food.

Purpose

This European Standard endorses the IEC 60335-2-15:2024 edition 7 published on 2024-11-01
