Overview: Under the direction of CPL/59 it provides the UK input to IEC/SC 59A the scope of which is to prepare international standards on performance measurement methods for electric dishwashers and IEC/SC 59D the scope of which is to prepare international standards on performance measurement methods for electric washing appliances, washer-driers and tumble driers. It shadows CENELEC TC 59X on European standards complying with the Energy Labelling Directive
