Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, provides a forum for matters of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) policy including those arising from IEC and CENELEC and is responsible for providing UK input into International and European standards bodies in its capacity as the UK mirror committee to: IEC TC 77 and its sub- committees; CISPR and its sub-committees; IEC ACEC; CENELEC/TC 210 on EMC standards including Basic, Generic and Product standards which cover the frequency range DC to 400 GHz and include transient EMC phenomena.
