Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for the UK input into CEN/TC 54 and participation in the improvement and further development of EN 13445. It is responsible for standards on unfired pressure vessels, vessel dimensions and accessories along with some technical supplements originally written for BS 5500. Its work consists of the maintenance and updating of PD 5500 and response to matters raised through the Enquiry Case and Technical Query processes.
