Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee, is responsible for the UK input to ISO/TC 20/SC4 and ASD-STAN/D3 and for all matters relating to the standardisation of aerospace fastening systems, aerospace standards for fasteners, with particular reference to: standards in the 'A' series, such as bolts, screws, nuts and rivets; associated parts, e.g. washers and split pins; associated geometries, e.g. threads forms and driving recesses; procurement specifications and terminologies aerospace details and parts; Standards in the 'C', 'M', 'SP', 'V' and 'W' Series, including Bearing standards from the Aerospace series.
