Scope

This international standard specifies basic dimensions, characteristics and engineering requirements for TORX® PARALOBE® driver bits used with aerospace fasteners.

Purpose

The driver bits have a very high torsional strength and offer excellent driver bit fatigue life. Together with the TORX® PARALOBE® drive system the bit offers a full surface drive contact and reduced contact pressure between bit and fastener recess.
