Overview: To plan, programme and co-ordinate the package of standards on mobile construction equipment, building material machines and on site safety in particular demolition, tunnelling and the use of explosives. This to include on-site and off-site equipment and machines except cranes. To organize the structure and work necessary to produce and maintain the standards. To appoint the UK delegation to participate in meetings of CEN/TC 151 and ISO/TC 195 on building construction machinery and equipment, and of CEN/TC 337 Winter maintenance and road surface area maintenance equipment. To brief the UK delegation to CEN/TC 151, to CEN/TC 337, to ISO/TC 195 and, where appropriate, to Working Groups and Sub-Committees reporting to these bodies.
