Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy Committee, B/209 is responsible for planning and co-ordinating standards relating to national codes of practice and for the design and construction of buildings. B/209 is also responsible for designated subjects and maintaining a working relationship with other standards committees where appropriate, in particular, those relating to the BS 8000 series.
