Scope

This European Standard defines load assumptions and verifications for the design of load-bearing structures of mobile concrete pumps with placing boom and stationary placing booms.

Purpose

The aim of this standard is to interpret, update and supplement the contents of the German national standard DIN 24117:2007-02 (Machines for the building and building-material industries; distributing mast for concrete pumps; principles of calculation and stability) while maintaining the basic approach to establish a European Standard for the design loads for support structures of mobile concrete pumps with placing boom and stationary placing booms. The national standard will then be withdrawn.
