This document applies to cargo e-Transporters, including but not limited to unmanned vending vehicles, unmanned food delivery vehicles, unmanned express delivery vehicles, and so on.
This document mainly describes the communication protocol of the cargo e -Transporters in terms of driving, including the creation, update, and cancellation of path instructions issued by the cloud platform, as well as the status feedback of the cargo e -Transporters when executing path instructions and basic exception handling messages.
With the breakthrough of autonomous driving technology, the technology of unmanned cargo e - Transporters is becoming increasingly mature, and the cost of use is becoming more reasonable. At present, it has been maturely applied worldwide, and the scale of use will increase significantly every year.
The cooperation between cargo e-Transporters and cloud platform scheduling system completes the automatic transportation of goods. The cloud platform scheduling system selects cargo e - Transporter and releases cargo transportation tasks. After receiving the task, the cargo e- Transporters carry out the transportation task and provide feedback on the task execution status and the physical status of its own equipment. During this process, the cargo e -Transporters and cloud platform scheduling system transmit task and status information through interfaces.
At present, there is no international standard for the interface between cargo e -Transporters and cloud platform scheduling systems. Equipment and system suppliers in various countries design and implement this interface based on their respective experiences. This has resulted in a significant workload for adapting equipment and systems from different suppliers. So there is an urgent need to develop a relevant standard for relevant parties in various countries to refer to and unify technical requirements.
