Scope

This international standard specifies basic dimensions, characteristics, quality and engineering requirements for TORX PLUS® recesses used with aerospace fasteners.

Purpose

This standard ensures that parts are produced globally in accordance with the licensed TORX PLUS® drive system requirements. These requirements include manufacturing, gaging, dimensional, performance, and quality standards. Additional quality requirements enable reliable assembly of aerospace fasteners. The TORX PLUS® drive system shall be added to several EN product standards at ASD-STAN. The aim is to have a superior ISO standard for the TORX PLUS® drive system which can be referenced in EN standards.
