Scope

This part of IEC 61753 contains the minimum tests, test severities and measurement requirements which a free breathing or a sealed fibre optic terminal need to meet in order to be categorized as meeting the IEC standard for category A – Aerial. Free breathing terminals are defined in Table A.16, while sealed terminals are defined in Table A.17 of IEC 61753-1:202X

Purpose

As a key component of ODN quick construction, market share of termninals is rapidly growing. This project is to produce one of standards for such demand.
