Standards Development
This document provides a multi-dimensional assessment framework of data spaces maturity, considering the different needs of data spaces, their participants, domain, or scope. Specifically, it defines a maturity model concept, structure, methodology and measurable criteria, with related requirements and guidance for the assessment of data space maturity. This document applies to all types of organizations, regardless of their type or size.
Data Spaces and similar data-sharing initiatives grow and develop due to a growing number of participants and due to a variety of Use Cases. Those aspects influence the priorities of such a development. At the same time, potential Data Space Participants seek information on the capabilities of such data spaces.
This project will a maturity model for the self-assessment of Common European Data Spaces and similar data sharing initiatives to provide guidance to those.
