Scope

This European standard deals with the safety of electrically heated gullies for de-icing the inlet of the drainage system of flat roofs, balconies, and similar structures, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V including direct current (DC) supplied appliances and battery-operated appliances.

Purpose

This European standard endorses the IEC 60335-2-83 edition 2 published on 2024-09-20.
