Scope

This document specifies measurement conditions and procedures for measuring the photometric quality parameters of road lighting installations, i.e. the quantities that quantify their performances in accordance with EN 13201-2 lighting classes.

Parameters used for quantifying the energy performance of road lighting installations are not considered.

Purpose

The main changes to Part 4 in text and amendment edits many already identified. However in line with the other sections of EN 13201 a full review of this section will be made to ensure best practice is achieved and practical to do so for the various countries.

CEN/TC 169 confirmed support for the revision in Decision 521/2024.
