This document specifies test methods and test conditions for measuring the reliability of a vibration energy harvester under specific environmental conditions of temperature and humidity. This measuring method is independent of power generation principles (such as piezoelectric, electrostatic, triboelectric, electromagnetic, etc.).
When a vibration energy harvester is used for an extended period under actual operating conditions or harsh environments, its output performance characteristics (power, voltage, resonance frequency, etc) is usually changed for long-term use. Therefore, it is important to standardize the characterization and reporting schema of environmental reliability.
