PNW 110-1650 ED1: Eyewear display - Part 50: User interaction

Scope

This part of IEC 63145 specifies the measurement methods for user interaction in AR-type and VR-type eyewear displays. While user interaction technologies can be implemented in various points in a total system of eyewear displays, this document is applicable to the total system of eyewear displays with embedded sensors or cameras (refer to 4.1). Contact lens type displays are out of the scope of this document.

Purpose

Recently, the market of VR type or AR type eyewear displays is growing up rapidly. Compared with the FPDs, these eyewear displays have specific features that a user wears the display. Therefore, specific user interaction functions are frequently implemented to these eyewear displays, and test methods for these functions need to be established.
