This standard will be a standard for performance data of air conditioners and heat pumps for building simulation including data range and accuracy to respond to the request from ISO/TC 205.
Performance mapping of air conditioners and heat pumps is required for building energy use simulations. There are already mapping methods, but they are not standardized except a few cases. Many issues are occurring such as poor accuracy, large burden for manufacturers, and so on. There is a discrepancy between the measuring points of current performance product standards and typical use points in buildings. To resolve these issues, this standard is developed.
