Scope

Technical guides showing step by step sequences on how to install horizontal hydroelectrical units on site. Each step will be defined with an Objective of the work, Explanation of the work and recommendations such as measurements to take and tolerances to follow.

Purpose

There are many hydroelectric power plants that uses Horizontal machines. Our experience show that existing guides cover the Bulb type machines but not the other ones that would include Francis and Pelton machines. The purpose of this guide would be to offer a guidance on the assembly of these type of machines. This guide would cover the installation of a horizontal generator.
