ISO/NP 19085-22 Woodworking machines -- Safety -- Part 22: Part 22: Single blade automatic and semi-automatic upcutting cross-cut sawing machines

Scope

This document specifies the safety requirements and measures for single blade automatic and semiautomatic up-cutting cross-cut sawing machines, capable of continuous production use, hereinafter referred to also as “machines”.

Purpose

Currently no international standards on safety of woodworking machines exist. Regional (EN) standards on this subject exist and are being used as blueprint for similar, but not identical, national standards in several countries. In order to avoid diverging requirements a set of international standards on woodworking machine safety is imminent
