Scope

This part of IEC 62906 specifies the standard measuring conditions and methods of scanning
characteristics for raster-scanning laser display which uses MEMS mirror as optical scanner and is
designed for projecting on a flat screen

Purpose

Scanning display is often used in high definition image display as a kind of laser display. The
purpose of this standard is to measure the scanning characteristics for raster-scanning laser display
