This document specifies the functionality of the underwater delay and disruption tolerant network gateway (UWA-DTN-GW) to support interworking and provides interoperability between IPv6-based network and underwater acoustic sensor network (UWASN):
– Interoperability for IPv6-based network and UWASN interworking; and
– Addressing interoperability for IPv6-based network and UWASN interworking
The purpose of this document is to specify the interaction between an IPv6-based network and an underwater acoustic sensor network. This document provides an overview, functional interworking, operation, and a detailed description of the connection between the ground and underwater networks.
