ISO/NP 19967-3 Heat pump water heaters -- Testing and rating for performance -- Part 3: Heat pump water heater of combined of hygienic hot water supply and space conditioning by cooling or heating water

Scope

This part of standard wants to provide a testing and rating method of performance for heat pump water heater products with the functions combined of hygienic hot water supply and space conditioning by cooling or heating water.

Purpose

In order to deal with global climate change, achieving carbon peak and carbon emission reduction targets in stages has become the consensus of the international community. With the development and improvement of the economic level and living level, the building energy consumption has been increasing year by year, which also results carbon emissions increasing. In building energy consumption, the energy consumption of controlling the indoor thermal and humid environment and providing domestic hot water is gradually improving, which has a great impact on building carbon emission target control. The application of heat pump products is an important measure to reach building energy conservation and carbon reduction. At present, the ISO standards of heat pump hygienic water heater and heat pump air conditioner water heater have been developed for single function products. However, with the improvement of users' requirements for space saving, compact installation and convenient control as well as performance optimization, there are needs of heat pumps hot water unit with the joint supply of hygienic hot water and air conditioning cooling or heating water to meet the multi-functions in the markets. At present, there is not such a standard of testing and evaluation methods for such products. Through the development of this new standard, end users can obtain more compact and convenient as well as energy-saving products, and the government will save more energy to better deal with climate change.
