Scope

This Technical Specification provides requirements, test conditions and tests to validate characteristics including the service life of application-specific film capacitors for use in motor vehicle components.

Purpose

The attached NP draft is the improved version of 40/2772/CD of IEC TR 63337 ED1. Due to the contents are not entirely informative, thus not fulfilling the requirements of an IEC Technical Report, WG 40 members agreed to change the document to a Technical Specification.
