This document lists up existing standards applicable to elements/items, with focus on interoperability and connectivity and identifies standardization needs and new standardization opportunities specific to the use of AAL CHE element.
The purpose of this document is to define the elements and items that make up an AAL connected home environment.
- AAL CHE element: classified devices, services and systems(e.g. Personal Health Devices, Multimedia devices, etc)
- AAL CHE item: an instance of an AAL CHE element
(e.g. Personal Health Device: Pulse oximeter, Basic electrocardiograph, etc)
This document identifies requirements for implementing and integrating devices, services and systems in connected homes and facilitates cross-vendor interoperability of AAL systems, services and systems.
Vendors and standard experts will be able to discover new standardization opportunites.
This document can be utilized as a blueprint when vendors develop interconnection systems in AAL CHE.
