Scope

This part of IEC 60384-1 establishes a generic template and specifies requirements to the content of detail specifications for capacitors within the IEC 60384-X series.

Purpose

This generic blank detail specification is a supplementary document to the sectional specifications for capacitors and contains requirements for style, layout and minimum contents of detail specifications. TC40 WG40 has decided to establish such a generic blank detail specification with the intention to withdraw the existing Blank Detail Specifications during the maintenance cycle of Sectional Specifications.
