Scope

The purpose of the amendment is to modify 4 sections of the existing 1709 in order to precise a definition (3.14), to modify the text accordingly (5.2 and 5.3.1) and to change a recommendation by a requirement (6.1).

Purpose

The last version of ISO 1709 was issued in 2018. Some comments received during the FDIS ballot were not addressed sufficiently precisely in the issued version. The proposed amendment aims at clarifying 2 important points.
