Scope

Requirements and test methods for male condoms made from sulfur vulcanized synthetic polyisoprene latex with a minimum mass fraction of 90 % cis-1,4-polyisoprene and a number average molar mass of at least 10^6 g/mol.

Purpose

The project is based on an approved ISO Work item ISO/AWI 23533, for which there is a request to apply for the Vienna Agreement (VA). Another condom project, EN ISO 4074, does already exist. The new project would, therefore, compliment the already existing EN ISO.
