Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy and Strategy Committee is responsible for national and international standardisation in the field of non-systemic contraceptives and barrier prophylactics, and UK input into ISO/TC 157 ‘Non-systemic contraceptives and STI barrier prophylactics’. Some of the ISO standards are adopted via CEN/TC 205 ‘Non-active medical devices’ which is mirrored in the UK by CH/205 ‘Non-active medical devices.’
