Scope

This document specifies immunity requirements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). It applies to components of the following safety and security systems intended for use in residential, commercial, light industrial and industrial environments:

— access control systems, for security applications;

— alarm transmission systems[3];

— video surveillance systems, for security applications;

— fire detection and fire alarm systems;

— hold-up alarm systems;

— intruder alarm systems;

— social alarm systems;

The document applies to indoor and outdoor applications of fixed, movable and portable equipment.
