This part of IEC 63608 specifies terms and definitions, and test methods of the short-term reliability and durability of vibration energy harvesting devices under the typical environmental conditions or the environmental stress, especially temperature and humidity. This document specifies test methods and test conditions for measuring the reliability of a vibration energy harvester under specific environmental conditions of temperature and humidity. This measuring method is independent of power generation principles (such as piezoelectric, electrostatic, triboelectric, electromagnetic, etc.).
