This clause applies with the following addition:
This amendment provides requirements for electric vehicles for RPT in grid following mode connected to the distribution network:
— through the vehicle inlet, according to IEC 62196-2, conductively connected to the vehicle power supply circuit; and
— in combination with a Mode 3 EV charging station according to IEC 61851-1 Edition 4 Annex F; and
— with interface protection inside the Mode 3 EV charging station or the upstream electrical installation.
Vehicle requirements for other RPT methods (e.g. grid following mode islanded from the distribution network, grid forming mode islanded from the distribution network) are under consideration.
This amendment shall be read in conjunction with ISO 5474-1 and ISO 5474-2.
