Scope

This document specifies the rheological properties and their measurement methods of Newtonian fluid type inkjet inks, where no particles or a few particles are included. The development of the inkjet-printable electronic ink is difficult to make various functional-material-mixed ink having low-viscosity, because inkjet ink is required to pass through the small inkjet printer nozzle diameter such as tens of micron in order to make small patterns such as 10 ~ 100 micron sized pattern. This document standardizes the measurement methods to evaluate the rheological properties of inkjet ink. So, it minimizes the effort during the inkjet ink development for printed electronics, and contributes the success of printed electronics industry.
