This International Standard specifies the designation system, requirement, test methods, inspection rules, marks and packaging of concentric lay overhead stranded conductors made of combinations of any of the following metal wires:
a) round or formed conductive wires as per IEC 62641,
b) round wires as per IEC 63248.This International Standard does not refer to gap-conductors as per IEC 62420.
