Overview: Under the direction of the Standards Policy Committee, is responsible for the UK input to IEC/TC 7 which produces specifications and guidance for fabrication and utilization of overhead electrical conductors, including: - Types of overhead ground wires, - All shapes of round and non-round wires, - Hardware directly connected to conductors for the purpose of maintaining electrical/mechanical continuity, - Conductors made of various metals such as aluminium, steel, copper, etc and their combinations
