Scope

This document specifies basic technical requirements for unmanned aircraft system (UAS) (products) used for overhead power lines inspection, including UAS with multi-rotor, fixed wing, composite wing and other configurations.

This standard is applicable to UAS used for patrol inspection of low-voltage, medium-voltage and high-voltage overhead power lines.
